WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

I have had the pleasure of working with Home Evolutions for a project on my home beginning in the Fall of 2015 and commencing in the Spring of 2016. The project consisted of taking an existing outdoor deck and transforming it into a chef's desirable outdoor kitchen and luxurious outdoor living area. The crew of Home Evolutions and subcontractors was very professional and courteous in their overall and day to day operations. I worked cohesively with every tradesman who worked on my project because I wanted to be a hands-on client who expected top quality and I was never disappointed. The craftsmanship and detail were superb from start to finish, and I am beyond satisfied with the finished product that was delivered. I would be happy to speak with new & prospective clients as well as showcase the amazing work Home Evolutions has to offer.

ABOUT HOME EVOLUTIONS, INC.

Upgrading your current bathroom, starting from scratch with a new addition, or completely reworking an outdated floorplan is exciting. By doing this, we can create the bathroom of your dreams and increase the value and enjoyment of your home.

If you live in the suburbs and depending on the age of your home many of these same challenges can apply. There can still be electrical and plumbing issues along with past unpermitted work to fix.

That’s why discerning homeowners get a complete inspection by a general contractor like Home Evolutions. Knowing what the challenges are before going into a bathroom remodel is much better than finding out half-way through the job.

You will appreciate our expertise, attention-to-detail, and careful planning. Those three things make your renovation project go much smoother and the outcome precisely what you dreamed of.

OUR PROCESS & BIDS ARE DIFFERENT

YOU’RE IN CONTROL

INITIAL CONSULTATION

In our first consultation, you can tell us about your bathroom remodeling project, budget, and timeline. We ’ll inspect the bath area, take measurements, and discuss materials. During the inspection, we’ll also be alert for any possible issues that could come up during construction.

ROUGH ESTIMATE

Next, we’ll create a rough bid which will include all materials and labor cost. Along with that, we’ll give you a time-frame of how long the project will take and when we could schedule it. If this works for you, we go to the next step.

DESIGN

In the bath design stage, we’ll work with you, along with a team of architects and designers. First, we confirm the plans and layout. Next, you’ll select the specific flooring, cabinets, vanities counter-tops, tubs, showers, finishes, lighting, etc.

EXACT BREAKDOWN ITEM BY ITEM

This detail gives you control of the expenses for the entire project. You will know the price for all labor and materials. That way if you want to make any changes, it’s much easier for you.

BUILDING PERMITS

Do you live in a co-op or condominium? If so, you’ll need approval from your board before bathroom construction begins. Along with that, there may be required permits from the Department of Buildings which we can help you obtain.

CONNECTION TO OUR CLIENT PORTAL

You’ll love our online client portal where you can see the progress of your bathroom project. We’ll get you set-up so you can communicate to the project manager as well as view images and deadlines. You can log in from any computer, tablet, or phone.

START PROJECT

Your bath renovation begins. You and your entire team can check daily progress online. Plus, it’s easy to send messages and make needed changes right from your phone.

PROJECT COMPLETED

Your renovation is complete – you now have a beautiful new bathroom. Whether it’s a large or small, this is an investment you’re glad you made.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT BATHROOM RENOVATIONS

Two of the biggest things to consider when having a new bathroom built is floorplan and plumbing. That is especially true for remodels. When having your current bathroom redone, the more you change the floorplan, the higher the cost. Also, if you can keep the plumbing in the same location, you’ll save money. As part of our initial consultation, we can go over your options and their price-points.

The next thing to consider is your style. Here are three of the most popular:

  1. Modern – clean edges, minimalistic, elegant
  2. Classic – think marble, tiles, and glass
  3. Rustic – warm tones, perfect for an old farmhouse

All of these styles work can well in any size baths from a quaint guest powder room to a large and luxurious master bath. After floorplan and style, you’ll choose materials.

BATHROOM SHOWERS AND TUBS

Tubs and showers will be a large part of your budget and depend on the amount of room you have available. Large master suites can follow the example of luxury hotels with a shower room or large walk-in shower.

Tubs come in all shapes, sizes, and finishes including romantic clawfoot tubs, deep tubs perfect for soaking, and comfortable ergonomic bathtubs.

SINKS, VANITIES, AND STORAGE

Countertops, sinks, and vanities along with ample storage options are the next items to budget. You probably already know if you want one or two wash basins. You’ll have other choices like self-rimming sinks, under-mount sinks, pedestal, and vanity sink. Storage is another thing to plan for as well as towel racks and warming racks.

FLOORING, FIXTURES, & FAUCETS

Home Evolutions can show you samples of flooring as well as fixtures and faucets. You’ll be surprised how much the hardware sets the mood of the room and ties in with style. From modern rain shower heads to the unexpected chandelier, every detail is perfect and creates the design and feel you desire.
